Beba do Samba

via de’ Messapi, 8

Rome, Italy

Circoscopìe is an event that brings together, in the same exhibition space, musicians, photographers, illustrators and poets. The themes of the evening are interaction and improvisation. The different artists will take turns on the stage in a banquet of visions and sounds that carry the audience between performances and interactive installations. Wrapped textures of violet and electric guitars, basses, the warm sounds of the Hang, images, smells, whispered words, from the tangles of wires and red piano keys, the collective 'circoscopico' celebrate the pleasure of meeting and exchange in a crescendo of sensory stimuli, leading to a jam session between all participants.

Circoscopìe born from the idea of creating a real interaction and exchange between different languages and expressions of art. It is also an opportunity for research, a bridge among artists who find themselves connecting and interacting together for the first time. The audience will be welcomed and immersed into soundscapes and visual art by the artists involved.

‘Circo’, from Latin ‘circus’, ‘circle’, and Scopie from the greek ‘skopê’, ‘observation’, manifests itself as a place of what is without place, a place of imagination, of wonder. Circoscopìe as átopon "is all that excess and that may seem unusual, strange, absurd, but also exceptional, extraordinary, wonderful. It gives us a glimpse of another world, ineffable and impossible to find... A circle that unifies and synthesizes what is nature, bringing unity in a place that seems lost and disconnected: from observation to vision, from hearing to the pure listening... A journey of encounter, dialogue and research on the ways of art, that gives light and respect for differences.  A unified vision that can give and sing our way of thinking to the harmony of the universe...

…‘from all the things to One and from One to all things’...

... Circoscopici worlds located between heaven and earth ... beyond time and space ...

... with feet on the ground, but look to the sky ...

In ritual banquet, Eranos, frugal food to share ...

Dancing in a circle of wonder,

inside the circle, the rotation,

like the Moon, let us sleep with open eyes

hatched in different scenes as curtains,

in the same Act,

equidistant in the same space,

in the passage marked by a look when crossing.

Circoscopìe,

without a journey of fulfillment.

At the time of Atlantis to land and water,

observing dissimilar land

observing his own.

Physical walls to support theater of the mind,

"Games of the Fall"

features of the sacred as fascinating,

Wonderful places,

sounding board to expand multi-colored sound,

ineffable words.
