ORIGINS is an interdisciplinary project silently inspired by traditional legends from several ancient cultures. The work addresses and embodies the concept of origin. Origin as a legendary place, a cultural landscape, an ancestral identity, an inescapable longing, a source of life, a spring, a seed of creation, an essential beginning.

The score for ELEMENTAL is based on the 5 elements (earth, water, fire, wind, space) and their connection to the 5 senses (smell, taste, sight, touch, hearing). All manifested universe is the expression of the 5 elements, and deepening our connection to them enables us to more fully relate and interact with the world we live in.

Contrast/opposition between a "celestial" sound and a "celestial" musical instrument, the hang and the dancer's body. Recalling Saint Agata, child/woman, martyr and saint, dance acts on the disarticulation and suffering of a woman body which is broken, torn, martyrized, but always invoked.
